Ola Electric, the EV arm of ride-hailing company Ola, has recently announced the launch of its first electric scooter in India, the Ola S1. The Ola S1 is available in two variants – S1 and S1 Pro – and boasts a range of up to 181 km on a single charge.

Ola S1:
- Range: 121 km
- Top speed: 90 km/h
- Motor power: 8.5 kW
- Battery capacity: 2.98 kWh
- Charging time: 4.5 hours for 100% charge
- Features: 7-inch touchscreen dashboard, LED headlight and taillight, app-based keyless access, reverse mode, hill hold, cruise control, etc.
Ola S1 Pro:
- Range: 181 km
- Top speed: 115 km/h
- Motor power: 8.5 kW
- Battery capacity: 3.97 kWh
- Charging time: 6 hours for 100% charge
- Features: All features of the S1, plus a few additional ones such as a more powerful motor, voice assistant, anti-theft alert, etc.
Both variants of the Ola S1 come with a 3-year/40,000 km warranty and 1-year complimentary roadside assistance. The scooters also have an IP67-rated water and dust resistance and are available in ten different color options.
The Ola S1 and S1 Pro are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999 respectively (ex-showroom). Customers can book the scooter on the Ola Electric website by paying a refundable deposit of Rs 499.
