Situated about 30 km from SANGLI, Narsobawadi is a holy place of pilgrim located on the banks of river Krishna. River Panchganga meets river Krishna at this holy place. There is a temple of Lord Shiv here.

Shri Narasimha Saraswati Swami Dattadeva temple is situated at Narsimhawadi, Kolhapur in Maharashtra. It is popularly know as Narsobachi Wadi.
Shri Datta Maharaj has taken an ‘avatar’- an earthly form twice. The first avatar was known as Shripad ShriVallabh and Shri Narsimha Saraswati Swami Maharaj was the second avatar, both these avatars appeared during the reign of the Bahamanis.

It is very close to Kolhapur. Kolhapur has a railway station and by road is well connected with all the major cities of the Maharashtra.

The meeting of the two rivers Krishna and Pancha Ganga makes this place very beautiful. This confluence is considered as very holy, and the temple ashore the Krishna river is also beautiful.
