The Parthasarathy Temple is a very old temple built in the 8th century by Pallava Kings and is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple is among the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

The Parthasarathy temple has five incarnations of Lord Vishnu namely Narasimhar, Ramar, Varadaraja, Ranganathar and Krishna. The temple has two gopurams, one in the eastern and other in the western directions.
