Dharani is a popular South India based film director, credited with 3 action movies.
Some criticize him for the commercial movie he makes and consider him as an entertainer than a serious director.
His next venture is Kuruvi which will be produced by Udhayanidhi, grandson of current Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi. Kuruvi will have the successful duo from Ghilli, Vijay and Trisha as the lead pair. The film is expected to be released in 2008.
