Malavika was born as Shweta Konnur is an Indian actress.

She has been a Fair & Lovely cream model girl in the North as well as a successful actress.

Malavika shot to fame at the age of 19, with her debut in the Tamil movie Unnai Thedi with Ajith directed by Sundar.C, the film went on to be a major blockbuster and started her career, it was released in 1999.

She was also a part of Mani Ratnam's stage show, Netru, Indru, Naalai.
