Pasteur Institute of India (PIIC) is an autonomous body functioning under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India is working in the field of Vaccine Manufacturing and providing treatment for Animal bite cases to prevent Rabies.
The Pasteur Institute of India is a premier research institution based in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1907 and is one of the oldest biomedical research institutes in India.
