The SBOA School & Junior College was started in 1979 as a service project of the State Bank Of India Officers Association. The S.B.O.A School & Junior College was started on 6 January June 1979 to synchronise with the International Year of the Child.

The school was made a steady growth in the past 21 years and now has to its credit a strength of 6241 students and 244 teachers.It is affliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education,New Delhi and prepares the students for the All India Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations.The school is managed by SBIOA Educational Trust.
