Swabodhini Special School, Chennai
Swabodhini is a school for special children tucked cozily in the serene neighbourhood of Thiruvanmiyur, in Chennai.
The school was born out of deep passion to meet the special needs of 4 children; from its humble beginnings in 1989, the school has grown rapidly. Today, the school is committed to teach and train 60 children apart from imparting occupational therapy to another 40 children – a number that is growing.
Swabodhini functions in a large, well-planned independent building consisting of 5,500 square feet at a prime location in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai.
