Sudha Raghunathan is a renowned Indian classical singer from the Carnatic music tradition. She was born on May 30, 1956, in Bangalore, India. Sudha Raghunathan started her musical training at a young age. Trained under Dr. ML Vasanthakumari in the gurukula style and went on to become one of the leading exponents of Carnatic music.
Sudha Raghunathan has won several awards and accolades for her contribution to music, including the Padma Bhushan, one of India's highest civilian awards, in 2019. She has also been awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, the Padma Shri, and several other prestigious awards.
Smt. Sudha Raghunathan has performed in concerts worldwide. Her concerts during the Margazhi Season in Chennai is a huge crowd puller. She is the disciple of Padmabhushan Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. M.L. Vasanthakumari.
